BACKGROUND

Working mainly remotely with a tight-knit team, the Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of key clients across Australia, helping build solid relationships, and developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and initiatives.


Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, your role will include everything digital from strategy to implementation. 

KNOWLEDGE

  • 1 - 2 years + in-house or marketing agency experience 

  • Excellent writing skills 

  • Strong attention to detail 

  • Must be motivated to work with minimal supervision

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Focussed on quality, accountability and reliability

  • Ability to multitask and maintain order with a can-do attitude and commitment to meet deadlines

  • Self-motivated who is energetic, enthusiastic, persistent, creative and motivated to work in a fast-paced team environment remotely

  • Relatable people skills, ability to interact with people from all walks of life

  • A positive attitude, trustworthy, honest and reliable with a great sense of humour (we love a good a meme/GIF) and team attitude

SKILLS

  • Advanced computer skills, (preferably some experience with Google Workspace)

  • Basic video editing skills (Think Reels, Tik Tok and short sharp shiny clips - we want you!)

  • Basic website development skills (preferably WIX) and other drag and drop platforms

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including written and oral (client facing, monthly reports and marketing strategy and pitch documents) 

  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude

  • Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Suite - though not crucial and Canva) 

ROLE TASKS

  • Content development curation, scheduling and community management

  • Assists in developing strategic plans, proposals, reports and analysis and participates in client meetings

  • Directs activity on assigned accounts and keeps clients informed and updated 

  • Remains aware of clients’ industry developments and trends

  • Checks and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts and production art

  • Handles administration tasks associated with account and job functions

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts and support other new business efforts/sales team where applicable.

HOURS & REMUNERATION

3-4 days per week flexible on days. Remuneration based on experience.
