Raising $16M for over 36 years, Taverners Australia has supported sports for various groups, including the deaf, blind, intellectually impaired, indigenous, and young girls, with a focus on cricket, providing a sporting chance for active participation.
“We are proud of the legacy by providing financial support directly to these groups to allow them to actively participate in cricket, generally at a grass roots level with a determination to continue the growth of Taverners across the country,” said John Jeffreys, Chair.

TBB Sport is partnering with Taverners Australia
Taverners Australia is a national network of branches covering all states and territories of Australia with the mission of giving the young and disadvantaged a sporting chance that they would otherwise not have.
“With our desire to do more, we have partnered with TBB Sport to adapt our community across digital platforms with the objective to raise profile and money, improve understanding and amplify the awareness of our actions from supporting those less able in the community to improve their lives by sporting participation and inclusion,” said Jeffreys.
With a base of more than 2500 supporters, being able to extend the purpose and legacy to the next generation has spurred the decision to embrace the opportunities from an improved digital platform and presence with TBB Sport.
”TBB Sport proactively partners with organisations and talent to define, refine, and elevate their position through deep-dive sessions uncovering authentic values and future direction. We then identify and engage aligned partners, causes and brands to negotiate meaningful, mutually beneficial, and long-term partnerships," said Adam Crosthwaite, CEO of The Brand Bar.

With the established infrastructure to do good, Taverners Australia and TBB Sport want to do more through content, member experiences, player access and community engagement, with an improved digital presence focused on growth of profile and engagement.
“Raising more than $16M is an incredible achievement coming from people with deep roots within the game of cricket, a story that has not been as aware as it should have been,” said Crosthwaite.
Launched now is the Taverners Raffle, proudly supported by Qantas, to win tickets to Lords in London for the World Test Cricket Championship Final between Australia and South Africa from 11 to 15 June 2025 that will be drawn on 26 May 2025.
