Welcome Century Champions League: Celebrating the Next Generation of Cricket Talent Together
We’re excited to share that The Brand Bar Sport has acquired Century Champions League (CCL) in a part ownership stake, further expanding our presence in the sporting landscape.
A league built for the bold, the skilled, and the champions of tomorrow, CCL is shaking up the game with a festival-style, short-form cricket experience that puts amateur and youth talent in the spotlight. These are franchise based tournaments with franchises owned and operated by owners across the country. In just a few weeks, this spotlight turns to Brisbane starting on Friday 25th - 27th of July for the Next XI U23 competition, followed by the major Senior showdown in Mackay at The Great Barrier Reef Arena from Friday 1st August to Sunday 3rd August featuring 120 drafted and handpicked players from across Australia. Making this the best and most competitive amateur senior tournament in Australia.
The momentum is already strong in the junior game. The June draft for Brisbane juniors drew over 800 nominations from young players chasing the path carved by rising and established stars like Josh Brown, Tom Cooper, Jay Lenton, Nikhaul Choudhary, Nathan Reardon, Chad Sayers and Chris Lynn. The junior competitions comprise of under 12, 14, 16 and 18’s all in various franchises which are varied from state to state. With tournaments earmarked in every state. Previously held in Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne we have now added Sydney, Perth and Hobart tournaments for the champions of tomorrow.
